The combination of products and services offered by our company aims at delivering integral solutions for the challenges encountered with the pipeline conveyance of abrasive and/or corrosive fluids.
The Sure-Liner process involves the insertion of a tight-fitting plastic liner pipe inside of a host pipe, thereby taking advantage of the mechanical strength of the host pipe combined with the abrasion and corrosion resistance of the plastic liner pipe. The liner pipe’s physical properties are defined and specified in accordance with the characteristics of the product being conveyed by the pipeline.
To obtain the interference-fit design, the liner pipe is radially compressed (rolled down) to reduce its outside diameter during the insertion process. The insertion lengths can vary from short pull lengths to pull lengths in excess of 1,000 meters (3,300 feet), depending on the pipe diameter and contour of the pipeline.
The roll-down method involves the radial compression of the liner pipe by passing it through a series of roller reduction units during the insertion process without yielding the plastic material. This diameter reduction is necessary given that the plastic liner pipe has an OD larger than that of the host pipe ID. This design provides for an extremely tight fitting plastic liner. Once installed, the plastic liner expands within the host pipe and is virtually anchored in place.
POSI-SEAL FLANGE CONNECTION
Due to the length of most pipelines, flange connections are required between sections of internally lined steel pipe. Although the Sure-Liner system minimizes these connections due to the long pull sections, it is still essential to utilize a high pressure flange designed specifically for internally lined pipelines.
The Posi-Seal connection is an advanced design flange connection that utilizes multiple self-energized seals. Posi-Seal flanges are designed to ASME, ANSI, and other applicable standards and have ratings up to 3,750 psi operating pressure.
INSTALLATION OF PLASTIC PIPING SYSTEM
We have a fleet of thermal fusion welding equipment for HDPE, PP and PB pipes ranging from 2” (50mm) through 48” (1200mm) diameter pipe range.
We predominantly utilize robust state-of-the-art McElroy fusion machines that consistently produce high productivity, quality welds. Our fusion technicians go through an extensive training program that develops safety oriented, highly qualified and quality conscious professionals.
Piping & Fittings
Plastic spool and pipe fitting installation services. We have a wide array of special tools and equipment for the installation, bolt-up, torque-up of pipe fittings and spools.
MAINTENANCE OF PIPELINE SYSTEMS
Repair of plastic piping systems or internal lining systems.
