This Project was executed in 2009 for Compañía Minera Doña Inés de Collahuasi (a mine owned by Anglo American and Glencore) located in Northern Chile at an altitude of 14,400 feet above sea level.

The project involved the lining of 32,500 feet of 26” carbon steel pipeline, used to convey corrosive water from a brine water well field to the mine facility.

The project presented numerous challenges related with working at extreme altitude, as well as extreme weather related factors such as high winds and electrical storms.
